[...] Mike wrote a fantastic post today on “A Brief Post-Script to the NFC Championship”Here’s ONLY a quick extractI’d write a legitimate article, but I may still be in cardiac arrest. It’ll be a damn fine two weeks to be a fan of the Big Blue, that’s for sure. Regardless of what takes place the first Sunday in February, and it is most certainly not … [...]

Hey, look. I forgot a word. Let's rewrite a certain sentence, shall we?

"For the last month, while Big Blue hasn't had one of their big offensive weapons on the field, Eli also HASN'T had to deal with a tight end that has a shitfit every time he doesn't get the ball."

Actually, I'll agree with you on Shockey.

For the last month, while Big Blue hasn't had one of their big offensive weapons on the field, Eli also had to deal with a tight end that has a shitfit every time he doesn't get the ball. Kevin Boss, or as I've been calling him, The Big Boss Man, has a certain Bavaro-esque quality, which is just keeping his mouth shut.

isn't it VERY INTERESTING how much better Manning's been since Jeremy Shockey has been gone? kidding, kidding...

really, all that's different is that his receivers actually started catching passes. Just one drop in the last 4 games, and it happened in the most recent game. So long as they keep doing their job (I'm looking at YOU, Amani Toomer), he should be effective against the Pats as well.

Will it be enough to win? Who can say. The Giants gave them one hell of a game in week 17, though, so it should be interesting at the very least.
