Not that my Cards have a rosy outlook, but at least we didn't balloon our payroll to stay at about .500.</description>

		<description>This doesn't hurt them nearly as much as Carlos Zambrano's inability to function as a sane person while on a pitcher's mound.

I doubt that the Cubs were even expecting much, considering how he was missing a good 5-10 mph off his fastball from the very beginning of Spring Training.

The stupid part of this is that he's 26, and we'll be writing these articles for at least another five years.</description>
