The stereotypical Notre Dame <i>fan</i> on the other hand, is a source of pain and suffering in the sports world. No, 8-3 is not a bad season, and no, it does not mean you should fire your coach. And while I'm at it, "mystique" is completely irrelevant as to how good your football team is.
